Mrs. Gyemi's Peer Leadership went to Kingsville on Tuesday May 6th to represent St Anne in the Create a Garden event, sponsored and run by ACCESS Community gardens. The students spent the morning hauling and spreading dirt, turning compost, weeding, transplanting plants, painting birdhouses and fence posts and laying straw. It was a great day for our students who had fun while helping the community. The food that is grown is given to local people who often access the local food banks.
