 The St. Clair College Cross Country team capped a tremendous season with a Women’s Team Bronze Medal and Men’s Team 4th Place finish Saturday at the 2013 New Balance Toronto Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championship hosted by Humber College run at the Humber Arboretum in Etobicoke, ON.  This is the first ever National Team Medal for the Cross Country team at St. Clair College which surpassed their CCAA Ranking of 4th coming into the meet and solidified their provincial seeding as the top program in the OCAA.  The 4th Place finish for the Saints Men also exceeded their pre-meet ranking of 5th nationally. 
 
Kodi Morgan (Windsor, ON/Riverside) led the Saints Women’s team with a 13th place finish in a time of 20:24 over the 5km loop which earned her CCAA National 2nd Team All-Star recognition.  Donia Oumesrour (Windsor, ON/Riverside) followed in a time of 20:36 in 20th place and was recognized as 1st Team All-Canadian Friday evening.  Amanda Matthews (Windsor, ON/Belle River) was 31st in a time of 21:02 with Emily Ditty (Tecumseh, ON/St. Anne) coming in 46th place in a time of 21:38 and Alexa Ouellette (Windsor, ON/St. Joseph’s) rounding out the group in 64th place in a time of 22:20.  The Women’s race had a field of 120 runners. 
 
On the men’s side 43 year old John Trojansek (Windsor, ON/Assumption) led St. Clair with an 11th place finish in a time of 26:38 over the 8 km course and was also named a CCAA 2nd Team All-Star.  Jordan Langridge (Brighton, ON/East Northumberland) was 19th in a time of 27:38 and Matt Ward-Trymbulak (Amherstburg, ON/General Amherst) was 45th in a time of 28:45.  Chris Caddey (Dorchester, ON/Lord Dorchester) was 66th in a time of 29:30 with Forest Frair (Windsor, ON/Harrow) taking 113th place in a time of 33:45 to round out the Men’s team in a field of 116 runners. 

3rd year Saints Coach Andy Hahn was a finalist for the CCAA Coach of the Year Award.
